David Crowell
Dave has worked in fine art and framing since 1987 and holds an associate of fine arts in painting from Sinclair. He has pursued a career in the art field establishing Custom Frame Services, Inc. in 1993. He has served on numerous boards within the Dayton Arts community and has developed programs for education in the handling, care, and treatment of Fine Art. He is certified with the Professional Picture Framers Association.
Sherri Crowell
Sherri brings her experience in retail and finance to our shop. An entrepreneur in her own right, she meets the challenges of small business with a “Can Do” attitude. Working in front line retail and banking, she offers quality interaction with the public. Her knowledge and creativity enhances the direction of operations.
Sherryl Kostic
Sherryl has vast experience in the art and framing industries. Having owned a frame shop and gallery in Yellow Springs, she now lends her skills and talents to our shop. Showing a mastery of textiles, design, and color, she offers both wisdom and insight only gained through her years of working in the industry.
Linnea Albers
Linnea is a graduate of Sinclair Community College and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wright State University specializing in painting. Her creative specialty in the shop is frame repair and restoration, working with mold making and creating ornaments as well as toning and color matching. Her sense of line, color and form shows in her work as well as with her design capabilities.
Sarah Lapitan
Sarah has a background in design and stock management. She began working as a professional picture framer in 1999 and started at Custom Frame Services in 2021. Her talent and experience are evident as she works with clients and suppliers. She specializes in a variety of mounting techniques used to best preserve and present artwork and artifacts.
Trevor Montei
Trevor graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in painting and photography. He is now heading the photo restoration & portfolio production side of our business. Working well with clients in sales and product development, he primarily focuses on the production of standard as well as custom made frames.
